1. Information We Collect

When you use WeightSnap, we may collect:

• Google account information (name, email address) when you sign in with Google.
• Uploaded images of your scale/weight entries.
• Weight and related data extracted from your uploads.
• Google Sheets/Drive access (only to create or update a spreadsheet that you own or that has been shared with you).
• Phone numbers you provide when inviting an accountability partner, and phone numbers of partners who accept an invitation.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Log weight and related data into your designated Google Sheet.
• Display your data within the WeightSnap application.
• Send SMS messages to accountability partners as described in Section 4 below.
• Provide customer support.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. SMS Messaging

WeightSnap includes an optional Accountability Partner feature that uses SMS text messaging. By participating in this feature, you agree to the following terms:

• Opt-in: Accountability partners receive a one-time invitation text message. Opt-in is confirmed by replying YES to that message. No further messages are sent until the partner opts in.
• Message types: After opting in, partners may receive weekly progress summaries, streak milestone alerts, and missed-day check-in nudges related to the WeightSnap user who invited them.
• Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on the user's activity — typically between 1 and 7 messages per week.
• Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. You will receive no further messages after opting out. Reply HELP for assistance.
• Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Third-party provider: SMS messages are delivered via Twilio, Inc. Phone numbers collected for this feature are shared with Twilio solely for message delivery and are not used for any other purpose.
• No weight data shared: SMS messages never include your weight numbers. Only logging consistency and streak information is shared with your accountability partner.

4. Data Access and Storage

• Your data is stored in your own Google account (Google Sheets and Google Drive) and is not stored on our servers except temporarily during processing.
• Uploaded images are only processed to extract weight data and are not shared with third parties.
• We retain minimal logs for debugging purposes during MVP testing, which will be deleted after the test period.

5. Security

We use secure HTTPS connections and Google's OAuth 2.0 authentication to protect your data in transit. Access to your Google account is limited to the specific permissions you approve when signing in.

6. Your Choices

• You can revoke WeightSnap's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account Permissions.
• You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.
• You can contact us at weightsnap.mvp@gmail.com to request deletion of any data we have processed, including your phone number.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or within the app.
